Eindustria
The Eindustria system is a comprehensive solution supporting the processes of planning and executing gas purchases dedicated to entities that have the status of Ordering Party of the Transmission Service (Shipper), Distribution System Operator (DSO) or End User.
The Eindustria system enables long-term planning of demand for natural gas fuel broken down into any configurable period (gas years or calendar years, months and days) and allows for detailed recording of held contracts for gas supply, including contracts with the Polish Power Exchange and transmission contracts. The system verifies its contracts with suppliers and transmission operators to cover planned demand.
Functionality
The system enables transition from long-term demand plans to current operational plans – weekly, daily and hourly. As part of the operational planning, the system supports the planning of supplies covering the assumed demand taking into account the existing contracts with suppliers and transmission. In particular, supply balancing is supported through operator imbalance planning, the use of flexible contracts with suppliers, the use of POLPX to make up shortfalls on the supply side, as well as the use of POLPX to resell surplus gas.
The system controls timeliness of nominations/renominations to suppliers and operators, timeliness of operational allocations and transport forecasts, informing in advance about the necessity of their submission. The system takes into account the current schedules of operators and suppliers, as well as keeps track of changes to the operational plan in the context of already submitted nominations.
Monitoring
The system is fully integrated with the IT systems of the operator Gaz-System in the scope of submitting nominations (AS4 protocol and Edig@s 5.1 documents), making allocations, reading of nomination statuses, operational and settlement data.
The system continuously verifies the compliance of the ordered supplies with the actual consumption and contractual conditions, such as minimum and maximum contractual capacity. If there is a risk of exceeding the contract values and the imbalance level, the system warns about it, which allows to avoid additional charges. The system keeps you informed when user-defined thresholds are exceeded and when new data is acquired from the transmission operator or suppliers.
The specifics of the action
The Eindustria exchanges information with market participants, including suppliers, transmission system operators, distribution system operators in the electronic document exchange standard dedicated to gas market participants, e.g., EDIG@S, and in other standards accepted by individual market participants.
Benefits:
- reduce gas procurement costs and costs associated with demand imbalance,
- ongoing balancing of gas consumption based on own and/or operator metering data.
